Auch dieses Band stammt aus der spätmittelalterlichen Handschrift Cod. Pal. germ. 551. Das Muster trägt den Titel „Das sind die Löchlein zu 20“ und befindet sich auf Seite 45.
Die Vorlage ist fehlerfrei überliefert, sodass sich das Muster ohne Korrekturen rekonstruieren ließ.
This band also comes from the late medieval manuscript Cod. Pal. germ. 551. The pattern is entitled ‘Das sind die Löchlein zu 20’ and can be found on page 45. The original has been preserved without any errors, so the pattern could be reconstructed without any corrections.
Auffällig ist, dass das Muster nicht symmetrisch aufgebaut ist.
Für meine Rekonstruktion habe ich 20 Brettchen verwendet. Kette und Schuss bestehen aus roter Seide Nm 22, broschiert wurde mit weißer Wolle. Der Musterrapport umfasst 14 Zeilen.
It is interesting to note that the pattern is not symmetrical.
I used 20 small tablets for my reconstruction. The warp and weft are made of red silk, No. 22, and the brocade was woven with white wool. The pattern repeat spans 14 rows.
