Eine Borte aus Lakitelek-Felsőalpár (bei Kecskemét)/Ungarn aus dem 16. Jhd
Leider weiß ich nicht viel über diese Borte, ich habe 2025 beim Textilforum in Mayen einen Vortrag von Orsolay Zay über diesen Gürtel gehört, wo sie einige Bilder von dem Fund gezeigt hat.
Allerdings war nur das Gewebe nur dort erhalten, wo es mit Metall korrodierte. So ist der broschierte Teil erhalten und ein Teil des Randes, da er dort mit einem Flechtwertk aus Metall verziert war.
Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Borten, sind die Brettchen einseitig gestellt gewesen und wurden kontinuierlich in eine Richtung gdreht.
Unfortunately, I don't know much about this tablet woven band. In 2025, I heard a lecture by Orsolay Zay about this belt at the Textile Forum in Mayen, where she showed some pictures of the find.
However, the fabric was only preserved where it had corroded with metal. The brocade part has been preserved, as has part of the border, as it was decorated with a metal braid.
Unlike most other braids, the tablets were placed on one side and turned continuously in one direction.
Ich habe die Borte mit Seidengarn (NM11) und Goldlahn doppelt genommen nachgearbeitet und mit 36 Brettchen gewebt. Davon waren 25 Musterbrettchen und 11 Randbrettchen.
Die Borte ist insgesamt 3 cm breit.
I rewove the band using silk thread (NM11) and double gold thread and wove it with 36 tablets. Of these, 25 were pattern tablets and 11 were edge tablets.
The braid is 3 cm wide in total.
